1. Who we are

This website, doqura.co, is published by Doqura, a simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée, SAS) with its registered office at 47 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris, France (“Doqura”, “we”, “us”). For the personal data described in this policy, Doqura is the data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This policy covers the personal data we handle through this website. For any question about your data, contact us at [email protected].

2. What we collect

We keep data collection to an absolute minimum. The only personal data we collect through this website is the email address you choose to give us so we can keep you informed about Doqura.

We do not ask you for anything else — no name is required, no account, no documents, and no payment details. Separately, we use a third-party website-analytics tool, Apollo, which automatically records technical information about your visit (such as your IP address, the pages you view, and basic device and browser details) and uses it to recognise the organisation you may be visiting from. This is described further in section 6.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use your email address for one purpose only: to let you know about Doqura — for example, to tell you when it launches or to share occasional updates you asked for.

The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give when you submit your email address. You can withdraw your consent at any time — just email [email protected] and we will remove you.

4. Where your data is kept

The email address you submit is stored on hosting infrastructure located in the European Union. The website-analytics data described in section 6 is processed by Apollo, a provider based in the United States, which means some of that information is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA). [The transfer safeguards for this — such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework — are to be confirmed with counsel.]

5. Who helps us run the site

We rely on a small number of service providers (sub-processors) to run the website and understand who visits it, each acting on our behalf under a written contract. Most keep the data within the European Union; our website-analytics provider, Apollo, processes data in the United States (see section 4). We do not sell your email address, and we do not share it for advertising.

We may also disclose personal data where we are legally required to do so — for example, to comply with a valid legal request.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use a third-party website-analytics tool, Apollo, to recognise which organisations visit the site. It runs only if you accept it: on your first visit we show a cookie banner with an equal Accept and Decline, and Apollo is loaded only if you accept. If you decline, it is never loaded. When you accept, Apollo may set cookies or similar identifiers and collect the technical information described in section 2; these analytics cookies are not strictly necessary. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share this information for advertising. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. The only cookies we set without your consent are strictly necessary ones — for example, one that remembers your language preference, and, once you choose, one that records your cookie choice. No analytics cookies are set unless you accept. [US-transfer safeguards for Apollo remain to be confirmed with counsel.]

7. How long we keep it

We keep your email address for up to 3 years, or until you ask us to remove it or withdraw your consent, whichever comes first. After that, it is deleted.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access a copy of your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting processing carried out before you withdrew it).

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] and we will take care of it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés), www.cnil.fr.
